WHO ISRAHUL?

Portrait placeholder

I’m 23, based in Kolkata, and unusually comfortable starting from zero.

I have built businesses, watched ideas fail, exited one venture, worked with financial professionals and spent an unreasonable amount of time studying brands, investing, technology and human behaviour.

This website is not a résumé.It is the record of everything I am becoming.

01The first attempt

THE FIRSTATTEMPT.

My first venture was a clothing brand called The Billion Clothing. It failed. It did not fail dramatically. It failed for ordinary reasons — thin marketing, not enough product knowledge, and the slow realisation that effort alone is not strategy.

FAILED
LEARNED
02Then I built again

THEN IBUILT AGAIN.

The second venture was Sneakerdop — a D2C sneaker care brand. It worked better. Not perfectly. But well enough to exit at a meaningful profit and prove something important:Failure was an event. It was not my identity.

AGAIN.

THINGS IHAVE BUILT,TESTED OROBSESSED OVER.

03The world of money

THE WORLDOF MONEY.

Today, I work across financial services, growth, investment distribution and business development. At JRL Money, I work on partner acquisition, positioning, outreach, sales systems, product communication and growth strategy.

Hover a term to read what it actually means to me.

05Unbuilt ideas

MY BRAINHAS TOO MANYTABS OPEN.

Nothing here is a project yet. This is the raw bucket — unbuilt, half-tested, still arguing with itself. The built work lives further up.

Drag the canvas. Tap a note to open the thought behind it.

06The human side

NOT EVERYCHAPTER WASPRODUCTIVE.

There were seasons of anxiety, sleeplessness, overthinking and trying to understand why ambition can feel so heavy. Those chapters did not make me weaker. They made me more aware of the person behind the output.

  1. UNCERTAINTY

Too many options, too little clarity.

  2. PAUSE

The hardest thing an ambitious person can do.

  3. THERAPY

Language for the things I had been carrying silently.

  4. REFLECTION

Separating the work from the worth.

  5. REBUILDING

    Smaller promises, kept.

  6. MOMENTUM

    Quieter, steadier, mine.

  7. SOLITUDE

Learning to be alone without feeling behind.

  8. HONESTY

Saying the hard thing to myself first.

The work matters. The person doing it matters more.

07What comes next

THE BESTIS UNBUILT.

I am building at the intersection of finance, technology, consumer brands and storytelling. Some ideas will work. Some will fail. All of them will teach me something.
